Been working on getting some Branchinella Thailandensis off the ground- really interesting species of fairy shrimp. Slow growing but surprisingly colorful and robust. Mine are already over an inch in length and they don't appear to be fully grown. Hopefully I'll get a strong enough populace to have eggs available within a few generations:

It took several months but I finally have a second generation of these guys. It seems that unlike most of the other breeds I've done, the Branchinella thilandensis cysts need time post drying to develop. Whenever I hydrate immediately after drying out their detritus, none seem to live beyond a day or so. But now several months later, they are hatching and growing well.
